Sewing
Thursday 1.00 pm - 3.00 pm
Participants in this program will be provided with the opportunity to increase their skills from basic hand sewing to machine sewing.
Participants will start with learning to hand sew various articles using decorative stitches such as:
- Cross stitch
- Embroidery
Participants will then move on to machine sewing where they will make articles that may include:
- Articles of clothing
- Craft items
- Making pillow cases
Assistance will be available from experienced COBS staff however participants will be strongly encouraged to be as independent as possible.
